Bashkim Rrahmani

Bashkim Rrahmani is an expert and Associate Professor at the ‘AAB College’ – Faculty of Public Administration and the Faculty of Law. He graduated in law at the Prishtina University and completed post-graduate studies at the London Metropolitan University. Rrahmani gained a doctoral degree at the European University in international public law. His publication list includes papers, chapters, and monographs on international law and EU law and their role in the modern world. They cover topics such as the constitutional protection of human rights and international human rights, especially minority rights, EU integration, constitutional control, public administration, etc.  Rrahmani has given lectures in many universities, including in Europe and the USA and has participated in many local, regional and international conferences in various capacities. For many years, he has managed many projects supported by international donors in Kosovo and has served as the Field Representative of the Krieble Institute of the Free Congress Foundation (a Washington DC based organisation). In addition to academic work, he was trained at various institutions, including in public relations (Leadership Institute, Arlington Virginia; BMF - Beuerman Miller Fitzgerald New Orleans, Elections Campaigns – Free Congress Foundation, etc).

He is the author of ‘Statusi Juridik Ndërkombëtar i Kosovës nëpër vite’, Shtëpia Botuese Buzuku – Prishtinë ISBN 978-9951-08-304-1, 2019 and ‘The State of Scanderbeg. Institutions and the Applied Law’ ADJURIS – International Academic Publisher, ISBN 978-606-94978-4-5 (E-Book) (2020). He has also translated ‘The nonconformists – Culture, Politics, and Nationalism in a Serbian Intellectual Circle, 1944-1992’, Author Nick Miller, published by CEU, (‘Jokonformistet – Kultura, Politika dhe Nacionalizmi në Rrethin Intelektual Serb’, 1944-1991) from English to Albanian, ISBN 978-9951-08-304-1. He serves as the advisor for a number of NGOs and is currently a board member of the Kosovo Gender Study Center. He serves as a reviewer for several journals.
