Experts from across Europe gathered in Copenhagen to discuss ELI’s proposed model law for enterprise foundations. The event featured presentations on governance, authority, and taxation of foundations, followed by breakout sessions to collect feedback from participants.

Key discussions were led by the Project Co-Reporters Steen Thomsen, Mark Ørberg, and Anne Sanders as well as other eminent experts such as Emeritus Professor at Saïd Business School University of Oxford, Colin Mayer, Emeritus Professor at the Max Planck Institute of Comparative and International Private Law, Klaus Hopt, and others. The Reporters concluded with Conference with plans to refine the model law and present it to the public soon.
