The Conference was opened by President Maria Chiara Malaguti, while the keynote speeches were held by Deputy Governor Piero Cipollone of the Bank of Italy and Guido Alpa (Emeritus, Sapienza University of Rome).
The programme was divided into three sessions on the EU vs US models; Platforms for International Trade, Exchanges and Dispute Resolution and New Proposals for Governance theme.
ELI Executive Committee member Aneta Wiewiórowska participated in the session on Platforms for (International) Trade, Exchanges, and Dispute Resolution, while ELI Executive Committee member Teresa Rodriguez de las Heras Ballell participated in the session on New Proposals for Governance.
